IDG believes that the community must be a vital, integral and ongoing participant in any successful development project. Only through meaningful community involvement can we ensure projects are culturally appropriate, socially responsible and economically equitable.

Our community forums are a great way for host communities and IDG to sit down, talk story, and sort through the serious challenges facing us as we move toward creating an energy independent future.

In New Zealand, our projects are truly collaborative with the Maori Trusts because, from the very beginning, we created a foundation of trust, shared vision, and open processes.

Here, back home in Hawaii, we’re working to accomplish the same. And we hope you’ll join us. Sign up for our newletter. Follow us on Facebook. We hope to see you soon!
